Few Positions Remain for Indianapolis Ballet’s Debut Season in 2018
Indianapolis Ballet is close to filling its coveted Founding Company Member positions for its 2018 debut season, but dancers looking to earn one of the few remaining openings will get their chance on Sunday, November 19, when Indianapolis Ballet will host open auditions for its Company and Apprentice programs.
The November 19 auditions will be held at the Indianapolis School of Ballet studios, located in downtown Indianapolis at 502 N. Capitol Avenue, Suite B (Second Floor), from 1:30-5:30 p.m. ET.
Company auditions will be for elite-level dancers with at least three years of professional experience, while Apprentice program hopefuls must be at least 17 years of age in order to register. The auditions will consist of a full ballet class and repertoire. Full details, including required registration materials, audition fees and full Company and Apprentice program guidelines, are available at www.indyballet.org/auditions.
Indianapolis Ballet is continuing to gain momentum towards its January launch and February mainstage debut at The Toby at Newfields. For more information, visit www.indyballet.org/company.
