Colette Blake is from Dearborn, Michigan and was trained by Karen Milligan at Milligan School of Ballet from 2007 to 2016. In 2016, Colette attended a summer program at The Harid Conservatory and was offered a spot in year round program where she stayed for two years. She then auditioned and was accepted into The National Ballet School of Canada’s Professional Ballet Program where she had opportunities to perform in school showcases as well as go on a summer exchange to The English National Ballet School. Colette graduated from Canada’s National Ballet School in 2020 and stayed an additional two years in the Post Secondary Program. While in the PSP, she went on exchange to the Royal Conservatoire and took part in the Young Talent Project in collaboration with NDT.
