Emily Nord Womersley
Director of Young Children’s Program, Manager of Student Services (Levels 1-6), Ballet & Tap Faculty
Emily Nord Womersley is a native of St. Louis, Missouri, where she began her dance training at the age of three. She studied ballet, tap, jazz and modern at Suzanne LaTour School of Dance and the Center of Creative Arts. At fourteen, Emily discovered her love for working with the younger students, and soon after began teaching ballet and tap. Her enthusiasm, creativity, and passion for dance make her students feel right at home in the studio and excited to take class.
Emily moved to Indiana in 1997 to attend Butler University, where she continued to take ballet classes while studying biology and running cross country and track. She graduated from Butler in 2001 with a B.S. in biology. She has been a part of the ISB faculty since the doors opened in 2006. Emily lives in Indianapolis with her husband Michael and their three children – Gibson, August and Maclain.
