Reece Conrad

Company Artist & Ballet Faculty

Reece Conrad began dancing at San Ramon Valley Dance Academy in Danville, California. Under teachers Gayle Farley, Holly Morrow, and Byron Seddens, he performed many roles in productions of The Nutcracker, as well as in many original works. In 2016, he moved to Bloomington, Indiana to pursue a degree in ballet at Indiana University. He danced many roles across many genres of choreography that include Jerome Robbins's The Concert, Mark Morris's Sandpaper Ballet, Martha Graham's Diversion of Angels, and Christopher Wheeldon's Carousel (A Dance). During his time at IU, he also pursued an additional degree in Theatre with a specialization in design. 

After graduating in May of 2020, he moved to Louisville, Kentucky where he joined the Louisville Ballet Studio Company. He performed many works with the company by choreographers such as current Artistic Director Robert Curran, Adam Hougland, and Val Caniparoli. He is beyond excited for the 2023-24 season and looks forward to the great year to come.
