Jane Gordon joins us from The Alabama Ballet where she has been dancing for three seasons. Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, Jane Gordon trained at the School of Oregon Ballet Theatre from the time she was 8 years old. At 17 she joined Miami City Ballet’s Pre-Professional Division where she trained for two years. She has also attended summer intensives at San Francisco Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Suzanne Farrell Ballet, and School of American Ballet.

Her favorite roles she has danced include Cupid in Alabama Ballet’s Don Quixote and Russian Girl in Miami City Ballet Pre-Professional Division’s Serenade. Some of her other favorite ballets she has performed in are Raymonda Variations, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Western Symphony. 

 Jane is so excited to continue as an apprentice for Indianapolis Ballet’s 2023-24 season.
