Pre-Ballet
The Pre-Ballet classes prepare the young dancer for the school’s first level of ballet. The children are introduced to the structure and etiquette of a ballet class. It provides the beginnings of basic ballet placement, port de bras (arm movements), footwork and simple step combinations, terminology and musical awareness to the dance. Instruction includes both ballet and tap classes.
Enrollment for Spring 2024 classes has been closed.
Class Schedules
Ages 6 & 7
Wednesday: 6:00-7:00pm (Tap included)
Age 6
Saturday: 9:00-10:00am (Tap Included)
Age 7
Saturday: 10:00-11:00am (Tap included)
1.0 hours/week
Class Attire
Girls: White leotard, pink/flesh tights, pink/flesh ballet slippers.* Black patent tap shoes
Boys: Black biker shorts or tights, white T- shirt, white socks, white ballet shoes, and beige dance belt (athletic support). Black oxford tap shoes
* Tights and shoes should complement each other in either pink or flesh tone as appropriate.
